The Classroom Victory Garden Project provides teachers with a variety of socials studies lessons, applying gardening and people working together and learning about each other across the different themes elementary students study. All lessons are designed to be one class period in length and are written according to second/third grade social studies themes. These lessons can be adapted to your students’ level and easily supplemented with materials from your social studies book in lessons about community, geography, citizenship and change.
